What night will you be on?

We were both nervous awaiting your performance on the voice tonight, although we know how great a singer you are. We first heard you many years ago with John Foreman at Jordans at Darling Harbour (tells you how long ago it was). We encouraged the Kiama Jazz Club to bring you and John down in 1991. We last caught you at the Starfish Club reopening doing the James Taylor songbook. Didn't get to express our thanks on the night, but you & the band nailed it. Anyway congrats on your voice performance, we wish you all the success you deserve.

Darling boy, who'd have thought it? So proud, and just lovely to see your wife and little babies. And we are very happy to see how happy you look! I haven't mastered all the technology but Jo and Simon both told me you would be appearing on the Voice, but I didn't know how to contact you to wish you all luck. Hey Darren, congrats on an excellent performance last night. From your shows at the Manly jazz fest to the Vanguard in Newtown to teaching me how to sing at Splendour in the Grass 2010, I've kept an ear out for you and I'm happy for you that the rest of Australia will get to find out about your skills as well.

Finally one of Australia's BEST singers is getting some recognition. Whhoooooo!! I hope all of Australia gets to see what a big HEART & a awesome voice this very special man has. Never meet a singer who could so easily bring tears to my eyes & joy to my heart.

Your voice - THE voice! Whilst I admire your technical skills with all that sound gear, could I ask that you work with a band - a good band. I find it a little distracting and and a voice like yours doesn't deserve any distractions. Having chucked in my 2 cents worth, Brilliant!!!!
